Accommodation Supplement

This payment can help with rent, board or the cost of owning a home. A person doesn't have to be getting another benefit to receive an Accommodation Supplement. There is an income and cash asset limit for this payment.

The Accommodation Supplement is not for people who are renting a property from Housing New Zealand.

Talk to Work and Income, or if the person you are caring for is 65 and over, talk to Senior Services.

Rates Rebate Scheme
